My son is one of the Monday performers. Miracle Project (which he calls "music show class") has become his favorite place to be. He's learned so much and has had a lot of fun, but mostly, he's gotten to know other kids who have similar challenges and similar interests. A real social life is extraordinarily elusive for a child with autism, and now my son has one. It's been great. To me, the fact that most of the teachers are volunteers brings an added grace to the whole process -- these really are people who just want to help other people. How wonderful is that? Just a note: the kids of Miracle Project will be performing their plays (there are 2 different shows) beginning April 27. The performances are open to the public.
